Flora is a circus elephant who can no longer perform his tricks. The ruthless circus board decides to get rid of the animal. The 14-year-old daughter of the circus manager, Dawn, steals Flora and sets off on their way to the Elephant Reserve. Hundreds of kilometers of forest and a wild river divide them from a safe haven. Two elephant hunters are waiting for them and they are accompanied by constant fear of failure. The film answers the question of what we are capable of in the name of true friendship.
